| Ramble round the parishes | 21/06/2008 | Celebrate midsummer by coming for a walk around the beautiful countryside within our three parishes ('though we might stray a little into Gloucester Diocese and the Parish of Oldbury!) We are planning a walk of not more than 10 miles and we shall include a couple of stops including a pub lunch. It is possible to walk 90% of the route off road on some of the lovly footpaths and bridlepaths in this part of Severnside. Further details from Rev Dave (414810) |
| Summer Fete | 06/07/2008 | In the Vicarage Garden. All the usual attractions including a barbecue, teas, cakes and many stalls too. This is always a lovely event, regardless of the weather which seems to smile on us reasonably regularly. There will be a raffle of course, and a chance to meet friends and support the church at the same time. With a £150,000 roof repair looming in the next few years, not to mention the other improvements we want to make, this is an important event for us too. |
| Treasure Hunt | 20/07/2008 | Mark and Fiona are planning another treasure hunt around the area culminating in a BBQ somewhere(?) If there's enough demand we'll put on a special class for push bikes! Rev Dave for details. |
| Parish Flower Show | 06/09/2008 | This is not actually a church event, but we thought we'd advertise it because we're hoping to award a prize for the best exhibit (flowers, fruit or veg) suitable for display in our Harvest Festival which is the following day! |
| Harvest Festival | 07/09/2008 | It does what it says on the tin. Traditional service, traditional hymns and harvest songs; everyone (yes just like Christmas - everyone) welcome. Followed by a bring and share lunch. Further details nearer the day. |
